Standard First Aid

This is a comprehensive two-day course offering First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Includes the latest First Aid and CPR guidelines, and meets federal and a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR. Exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and AED.

Duration: 14–16 hours (dependant on level of CPR chosen)

  • Level A: 14 hours (Adult Choking and CPR, great for the workplace),
  • Level C: 15 hours (Adult, Child and Baby Choking and CPR, great for child/youth workers),
  • Level HCP: 16 hours (Adult, Child and Baby Choking and CPR + 2 rescuer CPR and BVM use, great for Health Care Practitioners)

Certification:

Upon passing completion of the course, each participant will receive a Canadian Red Cross certification card corresponding to the level they took, valid up to 3 years.
