Standard Child Care First Aid

This is a comprehensive two-day course offering First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills with a focus on childhood injuries and illnesses. Designed for those in the early childhood education industry or those who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies involving children and babies. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and AED.

Duration: 16–20 hours (dependant on the level of CPR chosen)

  • Level C: 16-18 hours (Adult, Child and Baby Choking and CPR, great for child/youth workers),
  • Level HCP: 18-20 hours (Adult, Child and Baby Choking and CPR + 2 rescuer CPR and BVM use, great for Health Care Practitioners)

Certification:

Upon passing completion of the course, each participant will receive a Canadian Red Cross certification card corresponding to the level they took, valid up to 3 years.
