CPR/AED

Courses on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen. All include training in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Courses offer training suitable for workplace or general interest. Includes the latest CPR guidelines.

Duration:

  • Level A: 4 hours (Adult Choking and CPR, great for the workplace),
  • Level C: 5 hours (Adult, Child and Baby Choking and CPR, great for child/youth workers),
  • Level HCP: 6 hours (Adult, Child and Baby Choking and CPR + 2 rescuer CPR and BVM use, great for Health Care Practitioners)

Certification:

Upon passing completion of the course, each participant will receive a Canadian Red Cross certification card corresponding to the level they took, valid up to 3 years.
